The Town of Sandy Creek, Oswego County, NY is requesting proposals for the purpose of retaining Federally Licensed Companies (FCC) to enter a non-exclusive lease of space for location of an antenna and cellular communication equipment on the town’s water tower located at 91 Weaver Road, tax map id # 018.00-01-08.07. Copies of the RFP may be requested from the Town Clerk, 1992 Harwood Dr, PO Box 52, Sandy Creek, NY 13145-0052, phone (315) 387-5456 X6 or fax (315) 387-2702 between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm or by e-mail at . All proposals are due in the office of the Town Clerk, 1992 Harwood Dr, PO Box 52, Sandy Creek, NY 13145-0052 no later than 3 pm on July 11, 2018. The Town of Sandy Creek reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposals, or to reject any and all proposals. No participant may withdraw their proposal within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the proposal opening.

Legal Notice

The Town of Sandy Creek requests sealed bids for placement of #7 hot mix asphalt on Edwards Road beginning at Co Rt 22 to Co Rt 48 and tying into existing pavement (1.8 miles). There must be 1.5” of #7 top after compaction and a minimum width of 21 feet with driveway aprons 14” wide. Bidder will include all rebates and any shim material needed in their bid. The bid must include the total price with a breakdown of tonnage. Bidder is responsible for all traffic control. No work will be done on Fridays without prior approval. Bids must be turned in by noon on June 13th sealed and marked “Edwards Road Bid”. The contractor shall provide the town with a non-collusion statement and a certificate of insurance providing $1 million per occurrence general liability insurance coverage naming the town as an additional insured. The project must be completed by July 31st and the prevailing wage rate schedule must be used. The Town of Sandy Creek has the right to refuse or reject any and all bids. Notice of Completion Of the Tentative Assessment Roll

Pursuant to RPTL, 506 (1), 1526

Notice is hereby given that the assessor of the town of Sandy Creek, County of Oswego, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been filed with Tammy Miller, Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Dr. Sandy Creek, NY, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until June 5, 2018.

The Assessor will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll on May 7th & May 8th between the hours of 9:30am-1:30pm, and on May 12th between the hours of 9am-1pm and on May 15th between the hours of 4-8pm. The assessor has the authority to stipulate to assessment adjustments prior to Grievance Day.

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on June 5, 2018 between the hours of 4pm-8pm in said town to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.

Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Tammy L. Miller, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Sandy Creek, County of Oswego and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Sandy Creek for the year of 2018, and that I will attend at 1992 Harwood Drive, in said Town of Sandy Creek, from January 2, 2018 to April 2, 2018, 10:00 in the forenoon to 2:00 in the afternoon on each day, excepting Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on said roll.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 1, 2018 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1 percent if paid on or before March 1, 2018 and an additional 1 percent for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the county treasurer pursuant to law.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Sandy Creek will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Oswego on the 2nd day of April, 2018.

Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Sandy Creek, County of Oswego, New York, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2018, is on file and available in the office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, NY where it maybe inspected by any interested persons during regular office hours.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Sandy Creek will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing thereof on Wednesday, November 8, 2016, at the Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. At such hearing, any person may be heard either for or against any item therein contained.

Pursuant to Section 108 of Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following officials are specified as follows:
Supervisor $14,300.00
Councilmen (4) $3,332.50 each
Town Clerk/Collector $30,508.00
Highway Superintendent- $52,311.00

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Sandy Creek will also hold a public hearing at the same time noted above concerning the Fire Contracts between the town and the villages of Sandy Creek and Lacona. The contracts are for the following amounts: Sandy Creek- $ 153,912.00; Lacona-$70,400.00. At such public hearing, any person may be heard either for or against such contracts.
