This special meeting will be held to discuss the Water District #2 transmission line and any other topic that may be brought before the board.

Legal Notice:

The Town of Sandy Creek requests sealed bids for placement of #7 hot mix asphalt on Fraser Road beginning at US Rt 11 to Co Rt 62 and tying into existing pavement (~2.0 miles). There must be 1.5” of #7 top after compaction and a minimum width of 21 feet with driveway aprons 14” wide. Bidder will include all trucking, rebates and any shim material needed in their bid. The bid must include the total price with a breakdown of tonnage. This bid is for delivered and in-place material, and MUST be stated on the bid. Bidder is responsible for all traffic control. No work will be done on Fridays without prior approval. Bids must be turned in by noon on June 12th sealed and marked “Fraser Road Bid”. The contractor shall provide the town with a non-collusion statementand a certificate of insurance providing $1 million per occurrence general liability insurance coverage naming the town as an additional insured. The project must be completed by Aug. 1st, and the prevailing wage rate schedule must be used. The Town of Sandy Creek has the right to refuse or reject any and all bids. Notice is hereby given that the Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018, for the Town of Sandy Creek, Oswego County, New York, was filed with the State of New York Office of the State Comptroller, as required by law. A copy of this report was filed in the office of the Town Clerk on April 9, 2019 and is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, NY.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of Sandy Creek adopted a resolution on March 13, 2019 authorizing the expenditure of $233,293.16 from the Highway Equipment Reserve Fund for the purchase of a 2020 Volvo Truck.

The Resolution is subject to Permissive Referendum.

2019 Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Tammy L. Miller, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Sandy Creek, County of Oswego and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Sandy Creek for the year of 2019, and that I will attend at 1992 Harwood Drive, in said Town of Sandy Creek, from January 2, 2019 to April 1, 2019,10:00 in the forenoon to 2:00 in the afternoon on each day, excepting Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on said roll.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2019 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1 percent if paid on or before March 1, 2019 and an additional 1 percent for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the county treasurer pursuant to law.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Sandy Creek will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Oswego on the 1stday of April, 2019.
