PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board for the Town of Sandy Creekwill hold a public hearing on the 7th day of November, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, New York, regarding proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2018, a local law to override the tax levy limit established in General Municipal Law.All interested parties will be heard.A copy of the proposed local law is available for review at the office of the Town Clerk.

PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Sandy Creek, County of Oswego, New York, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2019, is on file and available in the office of the Town Clerk at theTown Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, NY where it maybe inspected by any interested persons during regular office hours.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Sandy Creek will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing thereof on Wednesday, November7, 2018, at the Town Hallat6:00 p.m. At such hearing, any person may be heard either for or against any item therein contained.

Pursuant to Section 108 of Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following officials are specified as follows:

Supervisor $14,729.00
Councilmen (4) $3,432.50 each
Town Clerk/Collector $31,423.00
Highway Superintendent- $53,881.00

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Sandy Creek will also hold a public hearing at the same time noted above concerning the Fire Contracts between the town and the villages of Sandy Creek and Lacona. The contracts are for the following amounts: Sandy Creek- $ 157,000.00; Lacona-$73,000.00. At such public hearing, any person may be heard either for or against such contracts.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board for the Town of Sandy Creek will hold a public hearing on the 14 th day of November 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, New York, to discuss the Town possibility in entering into two Option and Lease Agreements with High Peaks Solar LLC each for a period of 25 years, with possibility of two additional extensions of 5 years whereby the Town will lease two parcels of land located on County Route 15 in and outside the Town of Sandy Creek for the purpose of developing solar energy projects.

All interested parties will be heard.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Town of Sandy Creek, Oswego County, NY is requesting proposals for the purpose of retaining Federally Licensed Companies (FCC) to enter a non-exclusive lease of space for location of an antenna and cellular communication equipment on the town’s water tower located at 91 Weaver Road, tax map id # 018.00-01-08.07. Copies of the RFP may be requested from the Town Clerk, 1992 Harwood Dr, PO Box 52, Sandy Creek, NY 13145-0052, phone (315) 387-5456 X6 or fax (315) 387-2702 between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm or by e-mail at sctownclerk@frontiernet.net . All proposals are due in the office of the Town Clerk, 1992 Harwood Dr, PO Box 52, Sandy Creek, NY 13145-0052 no later than 3 pm on July 11, 2018. The Town of Sandy Creek reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposals, or to reject any and all proposals. No participant may withdraw their proposal within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the proposal opening.

If the location of the structure makes it difficult to be seen from the street, the address number must be displayed on a post near the end of your driveway.

Your address number displayed on your mailbox alone does not meet the requirements of this law. In an emergency, seconds count!

This law is intended to enable Emergency Services to locate your address quickly in an emergency.
